JUNIOR SCHOOL

Bridging to High School: The Competency Based Curriculum positions Junior School as part of basic education, housed within primary schools. Grades 7 and 9 prepare students for senior secondary school while helping them explore career interests through specialized learning areas.

Our Junior School program provides the perfect bridge between primary and senior secondary education, combining academic rigor with career exploration and personalized learning pathways.

Career Exploration Begins

Your child's first year in Junior School introduces subject specialization and career exploration, helping them discover their interests and talents.

Core Subjects (Compulsory):

  • English - Advanced literacy and communication skills
  • Kiswahili - Language proficiency and cultural appreciation
  • Mathematics - Algebraic thinking and problem-solving
  • Integrated Science - Physics, Chemistry, Biology foundations
  • Health Education - Physical and mental wellness
  • Pre-Technical Studies - Introduction to practical skills

KMBPS Special Program

The final year of Junior School solidifies learning and prepares students for the national assessment and transition to senior school.
